Homemade Italian garlic marinara sauce
Ingredients
- 1 28oz can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
- 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ½ white onion, diced
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ Teaspoon fennel seeds
- ½ Teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- 3 bay leaves
Directions
- Add olive oil to a saucepan over medium heat and swirl to coat.
- Next, add diced onions and minced garlic to the pan.
